Our trip to O’Connor’s Bakery

We  visited O’Connor’s Bakery last month, as part of our study of a local industry in Geography class. They were all hard at work in the bakery as we walked around. We saw fondants being dipped, mince pies and spelt bread being made and lemon cakes being poured. We even saw Mrs O’Connor busily making Christmas cakes. We were treated to some delicious, freshly baked  buns at the end of our tour. Thanks to the staff at O’Connor’s for making us feel so welcome!
